Residents of Yuonuuri community in the Jagluu Electoral Area in the Wa West District are in dire need of access roads to market centres.
According to the residents, farmers found it difficult to sell their farm produce.
Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Kanyovila said farmers cannot access the market at Wa and Wechiau when they want to sell their farm produce because there is no vehicle that can access the community to convey their farm produce to the market.
He added that they cannot also access the health facility at Wechiau if there is an emergency.
Mr. Nong Saamana, another resident, indicated that the road was only reshaped during former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s regime and to date, there has been no reshaping again.
Madam Afia Paulina Nonenere, another resident lamented that they cannot go to market and people cannot come to their community because of a broken bridge which has cut the community from other communities, especially during the rainy season.
