The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin is set to be Enskinned as a Chief in Takpo, a Community in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of Upper West Region.

Naa Widaana-Nanga II shall Enskinn Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament as Tengmaale Naa in the Absence of the Late Martin Dongzung from Dambaali, the Late Tengmaale Naa of Takpo Traditional Area.

The Speaker of Parliament is noted to be one of the remarkable personalities in the Upper West Region behind behind Dr. Hilla Limann from Gwollu who was the first President if the third republic of Ghana.

Tengmaale Naa means a Chief of Development in the Dagaare Language.

Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin was Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo from 1992 till 2016. He has occupied several portfolios including the position of Minority leader and health minister.

He has also carried out several corporate social acts including building a 2000 capacity Auditorium for Wa Senior High School, he monitored the ongoing works recently. He Also renovated the Wa Sports Stadium and Has Recruited several people into the Ghana Health Service when he was Minister.
