Upper West Regional Director of Education Mr. Razak Korah

The Deputy Director of African Imagination Network (Ainet), Mr Abubakari Saani has Advocated for Constant flow of information from Ghana Education Service to parents of Pupils in order for proper planning to be done with regards to Education.

He said lack of Information on Public School Performances creates a negative picture about public schools.

“It shouldn’t be an advocacy it’s quite incumbent on them to see to it that what is expected is done, it’s not something we have to remind people, it’s supposed to be a responsibility of stakeholders to do what is expected and once it’s not done it’s not creating a very good picture…”

“Information is very important, we cannot plan without information, that not withstanding, parents are going to plan with regards to the releasing of the results, if Results aren’t released how will you be able to plan for your child?, It’s very fundamental, these things, sometimes when you hear sometimes when you hear some of these things the question you ask yourself is are we serious at all, as people, as stakeholders, because these things should not be things that should be happening, it’s quite unbelievable”.
