After NDC’s Upper West Regional Elections were held on 12th of November 2022, Incumbent Organizer, Isaahaku Nuhu Patiaha lost the Elections marginally to his successor, Thomas Mwinbahaara who polled 199 votes, Hon. Putiaha Polled 185 votes after the results were Declared.

Both former and Incoming Organizers have released statements after the Elections.

APPRECIATION MESSAGE FROM THOMAS NGMINBAHAARA

I remain speechless over the support given me from the beginning till yesterday where delegates reposed their confidence in me to serve as their regional organizer for the next four years. I appreciate all the delegates and the entire supporters of the NDC.

I wish to also congratulate all others who made themselves available for this exercise. There is no winner till the NDC comes into power in 2024.

I pledge to work with all stakeholders to bring all on board, energize the support base of the party and have solid organizational structures, ready for the battle ahead, in 2024.

My doors are opened to all, so that, collectively, we can make the NDC in the Upper West Region proud. The stage is set, and there is no time to rest. The work starts now. I therefore need the support of all stakeholders.

Once again, I thank my beloved delegates for the opportunity to serve them and by the grace of God, we shall achieve our ultimate agenda by bringing the party to power.

Regional Organizer Elect

I wish to thank the rank and file of my BELOVED NDC, especially delegates in the Upper West Region, for the show of love and support for me through out my campaign process.

I presented myself to renew my mandate as Regional Organizer but the delegates, in their own wisdom, considered my contender, Thomas Mwinbahaara. I wish to congratulate comrade Thomas and all those who emerged victorious. My unflinching support for the NDC continuous unabated!

Once again, I am eternally grateful to all stakeholders for giving me the mandate to serve as regional organizer for four years. Through out that period, I have enjoyed working with you and our collective agenda increased the electoral performance of our party.This, we shall continue to do even in my different capacity. May our collective efforts win us power in election 2024.
