
The Ambulance Service within the Wa Municipality has run short of fuel for Two Weeks.
The development was revealed by a staff[Name Withheld] within the service to Yirimanbo advocacy group.
The concerned citizen added that the development has affected the airport office in Wa as well and could have consequences on service delivery to patients in need of an Ambulance.
Stakeholders have been called upon to support with fuel in order to address the emergency concern.
Some logistics also lacking in some of the offices per the report include, Bandage, Desks, examination glass, consumables plaster et al.
However the Special Aide to the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Abdul Rahman Meigoro has opposed the statement that there is no fuel to power ambulances,
“No fuel can’t be an excuse. Every work place has challenges, no fuel can never be one such a challenge.”
