In a remarkable act of generosity and dedication to education, a legal practitioner lawyer Abu Juan celebrated his birthday by commissioning an ultra-modern library for Funsi Senior High School (SHS) on 30th June 2023.

The initiative is set to provide students with a conducive learning environment and valuable resources to enhance their educational journeys.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by prominent figures, community members, and excited Funsi SHS students. The event was marked with speeches and an atmosphere of celebration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lawyer Abu Juan expressed his deep commitment to education and his heartfelt desire to give back to his community. He emphasized the importance of literacy and knowledge in shaping the future of young minds, and how access to quality educational resources plays a pivotal role in achieving these goals.

The ultra-modern library is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an extensive collection of books, comfortable reading spaces to aid students in their research and studies and CCTV Cameras for security purposes. The latest educational materials, including textbooks, reference books, and academic journals, have been meticulously curated to cover a wide range of subjects and interests.

The principal of Funsi SHS, Mr Suleman Dramani, expressed his gratitude and delight at the incredible gesture by Lawyer Abu Juan. He highlighted the impact this new library will have on the students, as it will expose them to a world of knowledge and broaden their horizons.

Mr Suleman Dramani also conveyed his belief that this initiative will inspire other individuals and organizations to invest in education and contribute to the betterment of the community, adding assurance that the facility and its content will be preserved and put to its intended use.
