There has been unrest at Loggu, the Selected Area in which the Elections and sorting out is currently ongoing for the Wa East NDC Constituency Elections.

Reason for the misconception and unrest was attributed to an Aspirant’s decision to question why the Electoral commission and other election officers resorted to sorting out results of Organizer Position without sorting out results of Deputy Youth Organizer Position.

An Aspirant reacted to the development resulting in some of his supporters agitating, Thai has resulted in tension in the Election center.

Police have tried to calm down tensions by resorting to teargas which has distabilised counting processes.

Results have not been declared or announced yet for the Wa East Constituency.

Results for some constituencies including Wa Central, Wa West, Jirapa and Dafiama-Busie-Issa are coming inn.
