A Journalist within the Upper West Region and Yirimambo Advocate, Mr Atawulahi Ibrahim has on 8th July 2023 expressed dismay with how Part of The Wa JJ Rawlings High Street, specifically the frontage of Stanbic Bank have been converted into a parking lot by Customers of the Bank.

“I become very disappointed by hearing from one customer of Stanbic Bank Wa branch who told me that they are been permitted by the Wa Stanbic Bank manager for using this particular place as we know that’s one of the busy roads as their parking place what do you have to say on this, is our police command aware of this or not Sir ACP Price Waabu and the MTTD command? yes or no, Should we wait until it happens badly before action should be taken thank you concerned citizens of the upper West good evening.”

He Advocated for the MTTD to Take Pragmatic steps in addressing the Issue.

“MTTD Commander Sir Mr. Paul Buabeng Donkor or this is not part of your duty if I may ask on behalf of all the good people of the upper west. region thanks, but if you and I can remember always there is police personnel and private securities to as well at this particular bank”
