A Group of Concerned Youth and Sympathizers of Emmanuel Suglo Yakubu a Competitor of Mr. Seidu Tungbani have expressed concern with the Declaration of Mr. Seidu Tungbani as Dorimon Naa on Public Platforms by the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.

Late Dorimon Naa, Suhimininye Danah Gore II passed on Over a Year Ago and consultations are ongoing to get his replacement.

It can be recalled that the Upper West Regional Minister in a Statement on his Social Media handle on Tuesday 23rd May 2023, Referred to Mr. Seidu Tungbani as Paramount Chief of Dorimon in a long writeup that sought to sumerise a close engagement with some elders of the Dorimon Traditional Council with the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council.

His Address Didn’t go down well will a cross section of people of Dorimon who have resorted to Engage the National Security and other Stakeholders. According the group, the Regional Minister has taken a side in the development and is trying to interfere in the affairs of the Dorimon Traditional Area.

Statement of the Regional Minister

This afternoon, I received a delegation from Dorimon Traditional Area, Wa West District. The delegation was led by the Paramount Chief of Dorimom Traditional Area, Dorimon Naa Alhaji Seidu Tingbani. They came to inform me of the demise of Major (Rtd) Edward Yirimambo. The late Major (Rtd) Yirimambo was the Commissioner for Works and Housing in the government of the late General I.K. Acheampong. It was during his time that the Bamboi Bridge was constructed. Later on, Major (Rtd) Yirimambo became the NPP Wa West Parliamentary Candidate in the 2004 General Election. He passed away in the United Kingdom where he resides. According to the delegation, the bereaved family is yet to conclude the funeral and burial arrangements. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
