Ibrahim Yutia, A Student of Community Health Nursing Training College in Jirapa was reported to have been kidnapped in a section of Wa After he travelled to the Regional Capital to deposit some monies kept in his care into a Student account.

On 10th of June 2023, he was reported Missing and per a message he left in a student group, his life was in danger and all attempts to reach him via phone were futile, in the process, search was mounted for his whereabout till he returned home by himself to Motigu in the Wa East District on 14th July 2023.

Some Students indicated that the Victim is currently keeping their money and wanted to use the Kidnap as a strategy to win some sympathy in order to be able to keep the Money.

They added that the victim has refused to give them the money meant for invigilators and Some supervisors when they come to conduct Exams for Students after he failed to deposit it in the Bank.

He has been charged in the Wa Circuit Court as a result and Appeared in Court on the 10th of August 2023, he will Reappear on the 31st of August 2023 for his case to be tried.
