Daffiamah-Bussie-Issah District Hardly Meets Revenue Targets – DCE

District chief Executive for Daffiamah-Bussie-Issah district, Mr Naadi Sanda Imoro lamented over the low growth of economic activities in the district which he said accounted for low revenue generation for the Assembly, therefore the slow spate of development.

He was however in high spirits about the government’s ‘one constituency, one million dollars policy which according to him would be a major source of funding for major developmental projects of the district. He said the Assembly was going to submit their priority projects to the one constituency, one million dollars secretariat for consideration.

The DCE identified the construction of a District Hospital and tarring of the township roads as his major priorities which if achieved successfully would be a legacy associated with his tenure as Chief Executive.

He said he was going to start with construction of the doctor’s bungalow and other infrastructure to facilitate the upgrading of the Issa Health Centre into a district hospital.Being an engineer by profession, he said he was going to bring his experience to bear to ensure that quality work is done on all projects under his jurisdiction to ensure value for money.
