Lecturers of the institution reportedly had a feud with rector and had disapproved of his induction as rector of the polytechnic following allegations of financial malfeasance by the rector .
This made the lecturers threaten strike action should the rector be inducted but for the intervention of the governing council the situation has been resolved.Is
