Residents of Nakori and Chansa in the Wa Municipality are at loggerheads over alleged land disputes resurfacing after years of rivalry amongst the two communities.
The Resident of Chansa are not in Agreement to release a land to Nakore residents for the reason being that the land belongs to them.

Background

The issue of misunderstanding begun when tipper truck drivers started trooping into the valley separating the two villages to carryout their sand trade.
The arguments over who owns the valley brought physical battles leading to assault of some number of people.
The residents of Nakore have placed a curfew on residents of Chansa not to pass through Nakore for any reason or face their wrath.
Some of the assault victims are currently undergoing treatment at the Wa regional hospital.
