Wa: Mobile Money Fraudster Busted Dupes Ghc150,000 in 2years

The Wa Police have Busted a Mobile Money Fraudster by name Nurideen Abdul Ganiu in Tamale. According to Reports he registered over 40 Mobile phone Sim cards with different names.


Nurideen defrauded over 50 people to a tune of Ghc150,000 Ghana Cedis in 2 years. He confessed to using proceeds from his dubious act to build a 3 room bungalow around Wa DVLA.

According to the Deputy Regional Police Commander Peter Ndekugri, the Suspect left Wa town after suspicion he was being hunted for. He moved to Tamale, was later arrested in there and brought to Wa for Interrogation.
Nurideen is Currently in the Custody of The Police.

The Suspect is From Jangbeyiri and Is Nick Named Anelka, he was a ‘Straighter’/Steel Bender.
