President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be In Upper West on a 3 days visit.
This will be after he has returned from his Angola trip expected to last for two days.
The president will be landing on the Wa airport on 17th of August 2019 and will be accompanied by some party executives and appointees including the senior minister Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo, Sammy Awuku, John Boadu, Shirley Ayorko Botcwey, Ambrose Dery, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo and other Appointees.
He is expected to Commission the new Upper West Regional Hospital which was recently inspected by the Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.
The president is also expected to Commission the New University, Dombo University for Business and Integrated Development Studies UBIDS to make it fully fletched after it was declared Autonomous.
As Party of the President’s Three Days tour, he’ll be visiting several Districts to monitor projects including the Bujang Bridge in Sissala East, The 35Km Lawra to Han Road, the Bulinga Factory as part of the one district one factory policy.
The President will also be highlighting on the Planting for Export and Rural Development policy recently Launched by the Various MMDCEs In Upper West.
