The Upper West Regional Director of Ghana Education Service has queried some staff of the Institution over what he described as improper and indecent dressing to their Work places.
The Director, Mr. Duncan Nsoh took a drive around some schools in the Wa Municipality to ensure teachers and other supporting staff were well organized for their duties.
He visited a basic school in Kpongu where a teacher wore slippers also known as bathroom Sandals. The said teacher(Name Withheld) was asked to return home to dress decently before he could be allowed into the class to teach. Mr. Duncan threatened to withhold salaries of teachers who fail to adhere to such directives adding that the various headteachers will be queried for poor supervision if such situations repeat themselves adding that students observe and take teachers as their role models.
