Over 2000 students are benefiting from the free SHS in the two SHS in the district and 25 tertiary students from the district have been awarded scholarships by the scholarship secretariat. Over 240,000 cashew seedlings supplied to farmers in the district under the Planting for Export and Rural Development (PERD).
Other flagship programmes of Government are doing well in the Wa East District. The last thing the Hon. DCE touched was the upcoming Referendum on the 17th December 2019.
He admonished the people of the District and beyond to come out on that day and vote massively in favor of the bill.
