Prior to an image purported to be a news item depicting a positive case recorded in Upper West, The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council has referred to the case as false.

The fake News Item flooded social media causing panic and fear amongst people in the Region.

Checks Carried out By Upperwestmedia Team proved the accused isn’t Positive as purported, the victim is a member of 7th Day Adventist Church in Wa and some members of the church admitted a friend took him a picture and later re-designed the image with online applications.

No legal actions have been taken yet.
