
The total tally of Coronavirus cases in Upper West has shot up from eight.
The extra two which has increased the total to ten as reported by the Ghana Health Service has caused panic in several people within the Region.
Upper West recorded its first case on the 27th of March and after a fortnight it increased to 7. Simon Chukwudi, a Nigerian businessman in Upper West tested postive on the 16th of April 2020 after he was traced to his hideout on the Wa Poly Street in Wa Municipality. He was Declared the eight person to be tested positive.
So far one person has recovered in Upper West whilst the 9 are under isolation to be attended to.
Ghana at large has recorded 2074 cases 212 Recoveries and 16 Deaths.
