Techiman – Bono East Region

Some natives from lawra Babile but Based in Techiman accompanied by Christian Maalu Kpen have engaged in digital Theft by selling Audio Content of Renowned Musician by stage Name David BB for Money.

The Group claim they are the owners of the songs, false fully claiming on YouTube, Amazon, Audiomak that they own the songs when in actually fact the songs were produced as free to use songs by David BB.

The Group have shared the songs on Audiomak, Amazon and other social media platforms claiming ownership and extorting monies from the innocent David BB who isn’t very much educated in ICT. They claim to be helping the musicians whilst using all means to claim monopoly on the Internet space by reporting accounts sharing the songs in order to make money.

Some Individuals including reps of the the Musician Union of Upper West Region are putting steps in place to tage legal Actions against the Distributors.
