The coalition of concerned citizens, Upper West Region, Wa, has issued a press statement to debunked rumours that, the group has withdrawn the petition against Dr. Osei Kuffour Afreh to be investigated on abuse of office, bad leadership and misappropriation of funds.
In a statement signed by Hon. ISSAHAQUE SULEMANA & MR. TAHIRU LUKMAN as co- conveners, respectively, the group petition’s to the CID, BNI, Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service and the Ghana Medical and Dental Council to subject Dr. Afreh into investigation is still very much alive.

We have no formal relations with the Upper West Regional and can’t put our integrity at stake. Partisanship, ethnic fragmentation and religious sentiment are not the focused of the group.
The group is however reassuring the people of the Upper West of their strong desire to influence change and development positively.
They further call on some media house’s to be circumspect in their report’s by reaching out to leadership for clarification.
They group is however not happy with the Upper West Regional minister for not giving them any formal reply in the state of affairs regarding the petition submission for onward delivery to the MoH and GHS.
