Sissala East eligible voters have been told to be wary of being influenced ahead of the 2020 elections.
Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Sissala East Constituency Mr. Mohammed Issah Bataglia admonished the party faithfuls,sympathizers and the voting population not to be influenced by the materials favors the ruling government might bring to their home in return for votes in the upcoming general elections.
He was speaking in Tumu after a massive turnout at an organised unity walk started by friends for JM and Bataglia on Saturday over the weekend.scores of hundreds of party supporters and friends classed in party colors walked in unison.
Mr Mohammed Issah Bataglia said “what I want you all to know is that, the NDC has fallen four years ago but as things stands now the NPP members are afraid and would go at every length even at getting to our homes wanting to buy all of us”.
He added that “what I endeavor you all to do, going into this election is for you to have an angry attitude to reject any freebies given you, so that we can take the seat back from the NPP”.
Mr Bataklia further said “the leadership of the party in the constituency are taking frantic efforts and working very hard to achieve this objective, noting that, the executives have an office where meeting are regularly organized to brainstorm on its strategies and targets. He adds that ‘the party is strategic, well organized and with a strong and formidable team to working together in recapturing the seat from the ruling government’.
He called for support and said “one person cannot do this alone, so that is why my brother Mr Yakubu Adamu whom I contested with now helping on one stretch whilst another person would also take the other one and together we shall achieve the ultimate goal of victory”. He appealed to all members to be active their various neighborhood.
A communication person of the party in Sissala East constituency Mr Perer Bawa said “the turn out is a signal the constituency will be annexed by the NDC and the show of unity is strong”.
