An Award Winning Journalist,  Mr. Bashiru Jinapor has called for the Sissala Land to be given a separate region away from the Upper West Region.

He stated that the Sissala Districts have been sidelined from the Upper West Region when it comes to development.

This development came inn days after Sissala East,  West and Wa East were eliminated from some road development projects seeking to Award farm road contracts estimated to be 670km to farm communities.
