President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has re-nominated former  MCE for Lawra Constituency,  Mr. Martin Bomba-ire and the MCE for Jirapa,  Madam Christine Bombanye Amadu for confirmation by their various municipal Assembly Members.

The two nominees had failed twice to be confirmed by their Assembly Members. The President has also nominated Mr. Bukari Ali for Reconsideration by the Wa West District Assembly after failing to be confirmed at the first round, the total number of votes he had could not afford him the chance to go for a second attempt till he got renominated.

Their Re-nominations were revealed by the Upper West Regional Minister,  Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.

Meanwhile the Presiding Member for Jirapa ving-ving, Hon. Ebenezer Ayemah had also been threatened by some unknown group of people few days ago. Many have linked it to the failure of the Assembly to confirm The Nominee for Jirapa.
