
The Sissala East Municipal Assembly has taken delivery of 31 Supreme(CDI 150) motorcycles with their helmets from government of Ghana.
The motorcycles were distributed to the Assembly members today, October 14, 2021 at the premises of the Municipal Assembly in Tumu.
In an interview wifh the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Adams Moro he said the bikes were distributed to the 21 elected Assembly members and 10 government appointees of the Assembly.
He has appealed to them to “handle them as though is theirs” they have purchased with their own monies.
He said at the time of the delivery of the the motorcycles at Assembly they were all intact.
Meanwhile, some of the Assembly members who spoke with Radford FM news complained about the nature of the motorcycles, stating that “the motorbikes are not fit for our environment and the nature of our roads and as a result cannot serve their purposes effectively”.
They however commended the government for ” timely” providing them the motorcycles unlike the previous years.
