The Lipilime community in Sissala West District and the entire Sissala land were on November 8, 2021 thrown into shock following the sadden demise of Mr. Sulemana together with his uncle, Mr. Salamu Mahamadu whom he picked on his motorbike as they headed home from the Pina community in the Sissala East Municipality, They were returning from an agricultural assignment which sought to help an uncle and a senior brother respectively at a farm.
Unfortunately, the two victims run into a market Kia truck vehicle with a poor lightening system, at the outskirts of the Sorbelle Community between the hours of 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on its way from Gwollu market, heading towards Tumu in the process.
The vehicle run over the victims after the collusion, leaving both victims dead on the spot.
As a result of the apparent deplorable nature of the road, the victims and the Kia truck were both manoeuvering their way through the road like most other users of the road do so as to get to their destinations and as a result of this, the collusion occurred and these two precious lives were lost.
Mahamudu left behind his siblings, old mother and some family members hopeless, because they were banging their hopes on him as their bread winner.
Whilst Mahamadu also left behind a wife, children and his aged mother.
The family and the entire community are still grieving.
Sulemana was a graduate of Tumu College of Education in the Sissala East Municipality awaiting his Posting.
