President Akufo-Addo in Upper West

President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo issued his 27th Address on Covid-19 and other related developments.

He indicated that the Ghana Health Service Recorded a rise is cases from August to September 2021 but later saw a drip in new developments from November onwards.

He made these statements on the 15th of December 2021 and urged Ghanaians to take the vaccines despite the superstitious comments being raised by some group of people.

Upper West Region According to the President has not recorded any new cases of covid-19 likewise Savannah Region.

Three regions, i.e., Ashanti, Greater Accra and Volta, have the bulk of infections. Seven (7) regions have single-digit infections, and six (6) regions, that is Ahafo, North East, Oti.

Savannah, Upper West and Western North, at the moment,
have zero (0) active cases. We must do everything possible, at
the very least, to maintain this situation, especially as the
festive season approaches.
