Some Sachet Water Producers in Wa have disclosed intentions to increase sachet water Price within Wa Municipality.

According to the source requesting for anonymity, it disclosed that price of a bag is Expected to go up from Ghc4 to Ghc5 after some producers previously reduced their prices from Ghc5 back to Ghc4 in March 2022. There were misunderstandings between producers who opted to sell at Ghc4 and others insisting on selling at Ghc5.

The New Price is projected to be implemented on Monday 18th April 2022 by some producers.

The source said the decision isn’t cut across. Some Consumers in Jirapa have admitted Wa Producers do not increase prices in Jirapa since 2021.

Meanwhile Consumers have commended Three Sachet water producers including:

1. LAMDI Water Company 2. Dayel Water Company 3. Uniq water Company

For Stabilizing Prices. They also Thanked Delicia Mineral Water located in Kulmasa, Savannah Region for Halting price hikes in 2021.
