Outspoken Social Advocate for the Nothern Belt of Ghana, Princess Suuri Widaana also known as the Kevin Taylor of Upper West revealed that the First Paramount Chief of Wa was a Sultan by name Widaana.

She continued that from 1887, the Wa Royal Setting was composed of Tendeme (Landlords) and not just religious scholars.

Widaana Added that As at that time, the Europeans used to trade with Waala when it comes to salt business because salt was one of the expensive commodities within the North compared to Gold.

She revealed the Developments on Northern Unity Page on 2nd of November 2022.

Widaana indicated that Wa was controlled by Three Communities Including Mangu, Kpaguri and Sukpayiri.

Princess Widaana also disclosed that Suuri Yiri is the First Widaana Gate of Wa made up of Tendeme.

Several People however Disagreed with her Statements indicating she is using her platform to distort history.
