The Wa Central Constituency Chairman of New Patriotic party, Mr. Hamid Osuman has referred to blames on Teachers over Students Underperformance in BECE as Unfortunate.

He urged Leaders of the Constituency including the Member of Parliament to Make Provision for some Motivation in order for teachers to persevere more in their works.

“I have been a teacher for more than 20 years today but for now I’m not into teaching because of some factors, one is that all teachers aren’t motivated like previously, as a result teachers have decided to find other things doing alongside their work to be Able to survive, such workers need some form of motivation and support in this modern day world of ICT to Operate, in these modern digital era you don’t expect the manual system to produce Results…”

He urged the member of Parliament to create an award and motivation Scheme for students and teachers.

“The Member of Parliament should create more avenues to boost Students and teachers performance, if the Member of Parliament had established an award Scheme to motivate hardworking Students and teachers we would have seen better performances”.

He also referred to instances where some Constituencies such as Sissala East changed lawmakers over Underperformance blaming Residents of Wa for underdevelopment facing the Constituency, he also referred People to Bosomtwe where the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum Constructed a STEM SHS School Facilities for Education Development in his Constituency.
