The Upper West Regional Chief Imam’s Endowment Fund has Assisted 16 Students with Scholarships to pursue various programs in Universities and Colleges of Education.

Amongst them Was Danyuo Vincent, a Student who Applied for Scholarship to Pursue Civil Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Both his hostel fees and School fees totaling Ghc3,688.04 were paid by the Chief Imam’s Endowment Fund. He expressed Gratitude to the Chief Imam for being Shortlisted as an individual from a Different Denomination.

He Assured the Islamic Community of his commitment to Education and assured them he will make good use of the opportunity in order to make them proud.

Secretary to the Fund, Mr. Razak Abdul Rahman stated that the Fund is Open to all devoid of religious Barriers, he added that the fund can be sustained to support more students if people contribute with commitment to it.

The Fund will be paying Vincent’s school fees from first year to final year at the University.

The Regional Chief Imam’s Endowment Fund was established in October 2022 and Launched at Wa Technical Institute.
