“its not true that vacation has been extended, its limited to some selected Catholic schools that will observe good Friday and other festivities, such schools may be going down for a day or two, it doesn’t mean all schools are going on Holidays till 11th, ill by this urge teachers to return to school..”

*UPDATE ON REOPENING OF SHCHOOLS*
Colleagues, it is quite unfortunate that some of you had to travel long trips to ensure that schools are opened today for learners as earlier communicated through the ministry.
*Breaking news hitting our doorsteps indicate that the Education Minister, Dr. Adutwum, in an interview with Joy TV today, 3rd April,2023, has announced the postponement of reopening date of all Basic Schools to 11th April, 2023.*
This postponement is attributed to the fact that the Easter break must be fully covered to avoid absenteeism in schools. (Both teachers and learners)
On this note, all heads of school are informed accordingly.
Thank you and happy Easter break to all.
