Some Residents of Duori in the Jirapa Municipality are dismayed after a recent downpour of rain recorded on the 30th of April 2023 destroyed a portion of their road.

The Duori Community is one the major communities which doubles as hometown of a notable politician by Simon Diedong Dombo, a founding Member of the New Patriotic Party.

When Sir Dicey Dakurah a Journalist with Core News Ghana Visited the Scene, he noted that part of the community’s major bride was washed away exposing the road and road users to accidents.

The Duori – Lawra road users especially the people of Duori are crying and calling for the damaged portion of the road at Duori dam to be fixed as soon possible to avert the lost of a precious soul.
