The Incumbent Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo has Referred to a favorite quote of his mentor aformer President Mahama which he used as a supportimg pillar to his explanation of Wanting to Spend an extra four years in Parliament.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team at Wa Technical Institute on 13th of May 2023, Dr. Pelpuo indicated that 19 years has given him enough experience to represent his people is a greater capacity and also will give him the opportunity to help his people more than he had ever done as Member of Parliament.

“..19 years in Parliament has Given me enough experience that I can do more, it has built me that I have the experience, I believe in What John Mahama Said, that it’s experience that counts not experiment so I have gotten the real experience to serve in politics and to give my people the real representation they want and I think that 19 years is a starting point for many people and for myself it’s the ultimate, I mean it has gotten to the climax of what I want to do for my people, I have gotten to the climax and I know I will yield better fruits than ever before..”

About 1,800 Delegates are expected to cast their votes in the Presidential Parliamentary Primaries of NDC in Wa Central Constituency, 11,288 Delegates will cast their Votes Across the Region.

Dr. Rashid Pelpuo is in the race with Alhaji Hudu Mogtari, Lawyer Mutui Rahman and Lawyer Wahid Bampuori.

Meanwhile, 11, 200 delegates will be voting for 30 Aspirants in the Upper West Region to settle for 11 Parliamentary Candidates.
