Dear Lawra Municipal Hospital, we knew we had other platforms to seek remedy yet we came to you officially to report to you the corrupt conduct of some of your staff.

You promised to take action but eventually shielded them and neither respond to our calls nor text messages.

That is good! We initially didn’t want to let this matter be public because some few corrupt and wicked staff can’t put the entire hospital into public disrepute. Alas, we were wrong in our judgement!

I am now ready to bring the matter public and I will write and write about it till you take action and stop those greedy staff from siphoning poor patients. You can’t be making wealth in the name of health.

I will face the hospital squarely. If arrogance can win, we shall see. You can’t be wrong and be arrogant at the same time.

We focus so much on government officials on the subject of corruption but allow our own to suffer in the hands corrupt people. When few bold and courageous people take steps, they are seen as too knowing and trouble causers. We shall accept the titles and move on.

We have done our best to help you appreciate the attitude of some of your people but your seeming lack of interest is understood to mean a tacit endorsement of milking the poor patients in your facility especially at the Labour Ward.
