On Wednesday, 18th of October, 2023. We extended our Pleasantries to the National Chief Imam of Ghana, His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu. The Purpose of our Visit was to introduce ourselves to him and seek his prayers and blessings as we continued the journey of Service.

I was accompanied by the SRC/NUGS Women Commissioner on this important gesture.

We remain grateful to the National Chief Imam for finding time out of no time to pray for us even though he was tired after this year’s National Maulid event and even in his Bedroom, he still found time for us.

May he live long and may Allah SWT Bless and Guide us all irrespective of your religion or belief.

The Student Leadership of SDD-UBIDS Met MAC Dan Few Days Ago

On Wednesday 10th October 2023, we had the privilege to meet with Dr Daniel McKorley , Chairman of the McDan Group . The occasion served us an opportunity to officially introduce the Leadership of our University’s SRC/NUGS, UBIDS SRC , and also discuss a few issues concerning the general wellbeing of our students.

The good news is that, after two years of consistent pursuit and other Universities joining the queue, our University the SDD University of Business and Integrated Development Studies has finally been considered for hosting the all-important McDan Youth Connect during the next academic year —on our campus.

I am particularly excited about this development, and I want to urge all our students and stakeholders to show interest in this upcoming event. McDan Youth Connect always comes along with several opportunities and benefits, especially for students.

Seeking opportunities and platforms for students to develop capacity in their various fields is a top priority of my administration as SRC president. I hope all stakeholders involve themselves in this process of change and development.
