An Award Winning Poet within the Upper West Region by Name Pobee Mwintombo has indicated that he spent over two decades, which over Twenty years in nurturing his career in Poetry.

“.. Usually I advise people to be Passion driven, I have Spent over Two decades in this poetry dream, that’s almost more than Twenty years of my life into this, at that point people had no interest in this, at some people I think of it knowing I need to upgrade myself, as a result I try to research and write more spoken words in order to protect our culture and poetry..”

Speaking in an Interview with DJ Anada on Saturday 28th October 2023, Mr. Pobee Indicated that he was inspired by his zeal for reading and writing adding that his parents motivated him to nurture the dream, he added that his mother being a Teacher was able to assist him with some reading and writing skills.

“.. When I was young I used to love reading and writing, that was what motivated me into poetry…”
