The Wa Municipal Assembly on the 31st of October 2023 in Partnership with P&W Ghanem has Signed a Contract to get the Road Constructed in order to improve Trade and Mobility within the Municipality.

The Agreement was Signed at the Wa Municipal Assembly in the Presence of Several Stakeholders including the Media.

The Time frame for Construction of the 6km road is 12 Months spanning from 1st November till 31st October 2024.

There has been calls for the Road to be fixed by Several Stakeholders and the ‘cry’ of community members within the Charia electoral area is to be addressed.

The contract for the Wa-Charia road project was signed in the early hours of Monday 30 October 2023 at the Wa municipal assembly. The Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaj Tahiru Issahaku Moomin urged the contractor P & W Ganem Ltd to expedite the work while not compromising quality.

The MD for P & W Ganem Ltd assured the MCE of speed and quality and that the work would be top-notch. Work has started in Earnest on the road as of today 31 October 2023
The contract duration is 12 calender months.
