The Upper West Regional Hospital is Currently Recruiting Some Staff to fill gaps in the Large institution.

This is being done few days after the Regional Medical Director, Dr Robert Amesiya indicated that the Health facility is understaffed during an engagement with Home Radio’s Umar Kunateh Popularly Known as Asprilla on 23rd of October 2023.

During his Engagement with the Media a Month Ago, Dr Robert Amesiya, an Orthopedic Surgeon indicated that the Hospital spends not less than Ghc 100,000 to maintain their equipment especially the production plant for the production of oxygen.

He Denied Allegations of Operating a Private Hospital in Upper East Region.

He Added that, the Hospital started with a staff strength of 214 in January 2020 and currently has a staff strength of 845.

The Upper West Regional Hospital used to consume ghc1.2m electricity each month.
