Management of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in Wa have Responded to The Auditor General’s Directive to Get Documentations for 294.74 acres of The School’s Land.

Statement of the School’s Management According to the Auditor General.

“Management indicated that payments of compensation to the landowners to enable the University obtain title deed is now the challenge since there is litigation between two families (Kpongu & Kpaguri) regarding the legitimate ownership of the land. The matter is currently pending at the Wa high court and until the ownership issues are resolved nothing can be done.”

Per Reports put together by the Auditor General for the 2022 Audit Year, it clearly indicated that the University’s Plots of Land are exposed to Encroachment.

“The situation could result in encroachment, leading to loss of the
University’s land. The University also risks having litigation on this landed
property with encroachers in future.”

In the Auditor’s Report, it was clearly stated that Two Factions(Kpaguri and Kpongu) were battling for supremacy over the University’s Land.

“The Auditor noted that the University did not have title deeds to cover 294.74 acres of allocated lands.”
