A Pentecost Pastor together with some church members have been robbed with their belongings including mobile Phones seized on their way from church service dawn of 25th November 2023 at Sobayiri-Boboo, a suburb of Sabuli in the Jirapa Municipality.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team, a reporter with Gangaa FM, Mr. Macelinus Mwinsagra indicated that an Assembly Member for area, Hon.Baligi Charles Called him on phone to reveal the unfortunate incident to him.

“I was sleeping in the night when the Assembly Member for Sobayiri-Boboo called Me for the District police commander’s contact, Hon. Baligi Charles called the Commander and he picked, he complained to him.

According Mr. Mwinsagra, the victims were from Sowali before they were attacked.

“the victims Were coming from Sowali on their way between Sobayiri-Boboo, they attacked them, those attacked were Pentecost members”.

According to the Assembly Member, Hon. Baligi Charles, Eight phones were snatched from the Members and some amount of money.

“.. According to the Assembly Member, they took 8 phones from them and some amount of money the pastor didn’t disclose..”.

The Victims were directed by the Miscreants to Return to Boboo instead of heading to Sobayiri, they were later able to get a phone from Boboo to call for support.
