The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Primaries were held in all orphan Constituencies in the Region.

Three MMDCES were successful in the race whilst four were unlucky.
The successful MMDCES include DCE for Wa East, Teacher Dr. Ewurah Suleman DCE for Dafiama-Bussie-Issa, Engineer
Nadi Sanda Imoro, MCE for Lawra, Administrator Jacob Domekakpier Dery.

Unsuccessful MMDCEs, DCE for Sissala West, Banker Aisha Batong-Hor, DCE for Wa West Teacher Vida Diorotey, MCE for Wa Municipal, Accountant Issahaku Tahiru Moomin and MCE for Jirapa Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri.

Nadowli Kaleo: Mr. Kambotuu Francis Xavier is a Teacher by Profession

Lawra Constituency: Mr. Jacob Domekakpier Dery is an Administrator by Profession who served as National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO)

Dafiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency: Mr. Nadi Sanda Imoro was a Road Engineer with PW Ghanem Ltd before he became Municipal Chief Executive and also won the Parliamentary Primaries.

Wa Central: Hajia Humu Awudu is a Philanthropist who owns Hajia Humu Foundation, she is also an Administrator by Profession.

Wa East: Mr. Ewurah Suleman Kandia, the Newly Elected Parliamentary candidate for Wa East who doubles as DCE for Wa East District is a Lecturer at Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS), He was also the Presiding Member for Wa East District Assembly.

Wa West: Mr. James Kpirifaatey is the Newly Elected Parliamentary candidate for Wa West Constituency, He a Professional Teacher at Ko Senior High School.

Jirapa: Madam Ayisha Salifu was elected Parliamentary Candidate for Jirapa Constituency she was the Deputy CEO of Zongo Development Authority is a Politician and Philanthropist she is the founder of WoSuD.

Sissala West: Mr. Naliwie Baluwie is an Educationist By Profession and a Media Practioneer who has worked for some Time with Tumu Based Radio, Sissala Radio.
