A Past Junior High School Student of Wa Model JHS has expressed concern over her inability to Access her school leaving certificate after completing graduating in 2008.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on Sunday 10th December 2023, she indicated that the School’s Management provided only a statement of results/broad sheet with results of all students outlined on it indicating she can make a photocopy of it and use it.

The student added that she was directed to channel her concerns to West African Examination Council(WAEC) since they had no idea how to solve the problem.

“…I went to the school for my certificate and was told the 2008 batch cannot get our certificates for now, I was given a broadsheet to photocopy and was later directed to the WAEC Office, the office also told me the school Should have delivered the concern on my behalf..”

Wa Model was established in the Year 1917, one of the Oldest basic schools in Wa. Concerns of other people in that Regard.

I completed a jhs in sunyani but did not get my certificate I have written letters to waec but to no avail they said brong ahafo northern , upper west and upper east 2008 year group pictures were corrupted hmmm
