Some Students of the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in Wa have expressed concern over the Amount of Money they are to pay as SRC Levy for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on Monday 20th November 2023, the Students who requested for Anonymity indicated that they are the only students paying High SRC Levies comparing themselves to students of Simon Diedong Dombo University who pay far below Ghc100 as their SRC Levies, Sunyani Technical University, Bolga and Tamale Technical Universities also pay a little above Ghc100. Students of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical Pay an SRC Levy of Ghc257 annually.

The Students Pledged to Petition the Ghana National Union of Technical Students (GNUTS), the Ministry of Education and Education Select Committee of Parliament if Thier concerns aren’t addressed.

Meanwhile, SRC President of the University, Mr. Edmond Amegbornor is yet to speak to Upper West Media Team concerning the Development.
