The Member of Parliament for the Wa East constituency, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw has supported Balayiri, Kparisaga and Bunaa schools with metal dual desks.

This became necessary as a result of the bizarre circumstances school children of these communities study in, including sitting on bare floors to learn.

It would be recalled that, the law-maker since assuming office as MP in 2021 has supported several schools in this regard with over 500 pieces of metal dual desks for smooth teaching and learning in the district.

Similarly, the constituency chairman, with his abled secretary and treasurer inspected ongoing works at the rehabilitation of a broken-down dam at DUCCIE, Some portions of the dam embankment got carried away by flood a few months ago.
The project is estimated to cost about 50, 000gh cedis.

This became necessary after several appeals to the government through the DCE for reconstruction of the dam proved futile.

The MP is committed to developing the district with the limited resources at his disposal.
