An Electronics Engineer, Professional Teacher with over A Decade of Teaching Experience in Ghana TVET Service has overthrown Banersco Seidu Nuhu of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency to be elected as Parliamentary candidate for the area.

Mr Sankara had massive endorsement by delegates of the area to beat the Incumbent District Chief Executive Madam and three others. He is hoping to take over the seat from Mr. Andrew Dari Chiwetey of the NDC, the Incumbent Lawmaker of the area who has served for two terms in Parliament since 2016.

Mr. Sankara Ankaara Polled 241 Votes to beat his close contender Banersco Seidu Nuhu who polled 177 voter.

He also served as a Journalist with Radio Progress, A Morning Show Host with Puopeli 92.7fm all in Wa before he was elected.

Andrew Dari Chiwetey

Born 27th September 1970 is From Nakoiyiri in Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency of Savannah Region. He is a member of the Works and Housing Committee in Parliament, he was elected as MP in 2016 and in 2020. He is a Human Resource Manager and  was formerly a member of Parliament’s Government Assurance Committee.
