The Upper West Region has gotten a new regional crime officer to Replace DCOP Reynold Manteau who has served for over 6 Years in the Upper West Region.

Superintendent Stephen Antwi was swarn inn on Thursday 15th of February 2024 as part of the Security Council Members of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council in Accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.

In December 2023, There was Shakeup in the Regional Command with the Regional Commander, DCOP Gabriel Waabu Moved to the National Headquarters whilst DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey was brought in from Upper East Region to Upper West Region.

The Regional Public Relations officer Chief Inspector Ohene Boateng was also Transferred to the National Headquarters.
