After DCOP Prince Gabriel Waabu left Upper West Region in December 2023, he was Replaced by DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey who is currently the Regional Commander. He was Promoted from ACP to DCOP in October 2023.

DCOP Waabu was Deputy to DCOP Peter Ndekugri Anambugri and took over from his after he had retired in September 2022. He Was Appointed as Regional Commander in October 2022.

After Prince Gabriel Waabu left to the Headquarters, he had a Massive Promotion as Director-General, Research and Planning at the Ghana Police Service.

The Upper West Region is Blessing and Anyone Leaving Gets to the Maximum Height. When Lawyer Aboagye Nyarko Left to the Headquarters, he was Made The Director-General of the MTTD at the Headquarters. He Left on the 21st of August 2021.
