The Wa Municipal PRO of Ghana Education Service, Mr. Mujeeb Suleman has responded to calls for School bus Assigned Loggu Community Day SHS to be moved back to the School after it has been parked at the Wa Municipal Education Office since 2023.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on 1st March 2024, Mr. Suleman Indicated that The Vehicle with Registration Number GV-1465-20 was Parked there for safety purposes and not because it wasn’t for the School.

He added that When a School’s Vehicle Finds its Way into Wa, the Best place to Keep it is at the Wa Municipal Education Office or the Police Station for the Purpose of Accountability.

He sighted instances where the Regional Director of Education, Mr. Abdul Razak Korah Parks his Official Vehicles in the Yard of the Wa Municipal Education Office Due to the Absence of a Parking Lot at the Regional Education Office.

Background

Some Residents of Loggu in the Wa East District have Complained Bitterly about the state of their Community SHS Vehicle which they believe is underutilized after it was issued to the School in 2020. The Vehicle According to the Source was Parked at the Education Office Under the Sun since 2023 which according to them will Affect the Efficiency and Strength of the Vehicle.

“Please can you help us investigate why the Loggu community Day School bus is being taken from the school premise and left under the scorching sun at the municipal education office.

Since they resume for this semester it hasn’t come to the school

However it’s left under that sun so we don’t know whether it was mistakenly given to the school or what.”
