Family of 27-year-old Shahid Abubakar who was killed by the police during an operation are demanding the report from the Committee set by the Inspector General of Police.

Director General of Police Administration, COP Christian Tetteh N. Who led a Police Delegation to Dondoli to commiserate with the Family of the Deceased made the following remarks:

“IGP had to nominate me, then the director General in charge of MTTD, Mr. Doku that we should come and sympathize with you for the loss, this shows that we are not taking this incident lightly at all, in the course of our work, where we ho wrong,we will come back and say we are wrong and we are sorry.”

The Deceased is late 20s and an Arabic student in Wa, was shot Thursday night, March 9, 2023, by the police.

According to the police, Shahid Abubakar was an armed robber, who attempted to escape police arrest and was shot to maim but he unfortunately died.

Mr Mohammed Tamin, the Spokesperson for the family, made the demands at a press conference in Wa on the killing of Shahid Abubakar of Dondoli.
